November 27, 2005
Dear Sir:
Acting as the representative of The Cameron Snow Heirs, I am offering an estimated 168,800 board feet of timber lying on approximately 45 acres.
The timber is located between Jamestown and Russell Springs, Kentucky off Hwy 619. Trees marked with blue paint can be seen clearly from Hwy. 619.
I will be available to show the timber to interested buyers on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Central time (11:00 a.m. Eastern). At that time I will conduct a tour of the woodland and answer questions concerning its marking, sale, and removal. At the above mentioned time and date, I will be at the farm house at the end of Cameron Snow Rd. All interested parties should meet there. If rained out, I will show the timber on Monday, December 5, 2005 same time and place.
The timber will be sold by sealed bid on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Central time (12:00 noon Eastern). The bids maybe hand delivered the day of sale or if mailed, be in my possession by the evening of December 9, 2005. The bids will be opened at the farm house on Cameron Snow Rd. at 11:00 a.m. sharp. Mrs. Ruth Roberts, (a Cameron Snow Heir) reserves the right to accept or reject all bids. The successful bidder will be given a 12 month contract.
It is agreed that a contract of sale will be executed with the successful bidder within 5 working days of the bid opening. The purchaser agrees to pay 10% of the total amount of the bid at the time of contract signing. The full balance of the purchase price shall be paid to The Cameron Snow Heirs no later than June 1, 2006 or before the harvesting of any timber, whichever date comes first.
If any questions arise, I can be reached at my home number, (270) 465-5672. Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of service.
Sincerely,
Tim Arnzen, ACF Arnzen Forestry Services
